I was finally able to spend a little time on my patio, yesterday. I have a few veggies and other plants out there that I’m attempting to grow. Honestly, plants and I have a love/hate relationship. I love them. They hate being grown by me.
Our relationship is usually best served when I go spend time with them in their natural habitat. I often imagine myself – someday – getting 5 acres in some place like rural New Mexico or Colorado – letting some of my seeds grow wild and walking amongst the world…
Well, have patio – will garden, I guess. Especially these days.
While moving some plants around and getting some transplanting done, I realized that I could get some macro photos done for my ever-growing Adobe Stock portfolio.
Yes – Stock Photography. Something else I do.
I have a tonne of images on my iStock by Getty already, and now I’m working on building my Adobe Stock Images portfolio of options. One of my favorite subjects being: Macro Nature.
I like photographing for stock, anyway, because there’s a great amount of freedom in that. I do it because it is in my nature to make stuff, but also because “things” are a favorite subject to photograph. Regular life. So, why not have my options out there, too? Someone may need that tomato photo.
The editors will vet what I submit and, whatever is approved, will be made available in the portfolio.
I would have taken the photos anyway because it’s fun, but now they can be purposeful, too.
